When I was 16, my mum didn’t want to spend the money to buy me one of the cool looking backpack so I decided to make my own.
For as far as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with clothes that were labelled “for girls / women”. As a kid, I was dragged to clothes stores, and the girl section seemed so much more fun, but I wasn’t allowed there because I was a boy.
It’s only around the age of 33 that I finally got the courage to wear in public “women’s clothes”, and the moment I did, I felt happy.
For the first time in my life, I could look at myself in the mirror and smile because I loved what I was wearing. My life opened in a magical way, and ever since, I’ve been freeing myself from the prison of “having to be a man”. Today, I feel free and happy to be whoever I want to be.
If you could be anyone,
who would you be?
TRANSGRESSION DESIGN 2021
After a year of thinking, planning, designing and tinkering, I’m ready to launch my first line of fashion. They’re clothes made for (wo)men who want to explore their femininity.
When I first wanted to wear women’s clothes, I was so ashamed that I’d walk into thrift stores, pick 3 to 5 pieces of clothes that looked like they would fit me, and I’d pay without even trying them.
With the help of Magnus, I created a collection of clothes for (wo)man who want to explore different aspects of their femininity.
Each piece is aimed to represent a different way of being feminine to gives us a whole a variety of clothes for all social situations.
